Vowels / Consonants/ Diphthongs

From the drop down menu select different categories of the IPA's. Vowels, Consonants, diphthongs and r-diphthongs. Select the letter to load the  audio and the animation.

Play

Click on the, big blue play button to play the animation along with the audio. Click on the left and right blue arrows below the play button, for frame by frame animation.

 Animation

The animation shows  the movement of lips, tongue and the jaw to produce the sound. The candle flame  simulates the flow of the air from the mouth and the nose while producing the sound.
